Our four visits are designed to meet the changing pest populations based on Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts seasons. Each of New England's seasons has it's own unique beauty.

 

Unfortunately, each new season also brings out many different pests just waiting to invade your home. Because of this Modern has designed a pest control program that will protect your home and family from pests year round.

Spring
Stop the invasion of carpenter ants, spiders wasps, yellow jackets, centipedes, millipedes, sow bugs and other pests that may enter your home from the outside. Modern's exterior protective barrier will prevent these pests from migrating into your home.

Summer
Protect your family from wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets. Our summer exterior service will target these stinging insects and prevent them from nesting on your home and under your decks and patios. We will also pay special attention to areas where fleas, earwigs, spiders, cluster flies, and carpenter ants invade and nest.

Autumn
As autumn winds start to blow outside, pests will come inside - therefore, so do we. Because this is the time of year mice, rats, crickets and other pests start looking for winter shelter. During this service we will strategically place rodent and insect monitors in protected areas around your home. Your Service Professional may also install rodent stations to prevent mouse and rat infestations. To eliminate potenial diseases caused by rodents, your Service Professional will also spot vacuum areas of your home where rodent droppings and dead insects may collect.

Winter
  Stop the spread of allergens and disease carried by cockroaches, pantry pests, mice and rats. The pests active this time of the year carry as many as fifteen major disease pathogens and can cause food poisoning and diarrhea. Cockroaches also cause allergic reactions in many children and adults. Because of this, our winter service will concentrate on the interior areas where these pests live and breed. We will also follow up on our autumn service by vacuuming signs of insect and rodent activity in your cellar.
