Doug was exposed to Modern Pest Services early, when as a youngster he spent after-school time taking calls and scheduling clients. During summers while in high school, Doug worked as a service professional, gaining experience in customer service and pest management techniques. In 1995 after time away to pursue other opportunities (including running his own business), Doug came back to Modern to open and manage the company’s service center in Woburn, Massachusetts, through a time of extraordinary growth. He later returned to Maine to develop Modern’s advanced information systems infrastructure and launch technology innovations now shared across the pest management industry. In his current role as Co-president and Chief Financial Officer, Doug oversees finance, human resources, information systems and administration; and shares decision-making responsibilities with the Executive Management Team.
