New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu Orders Non-Essential Businesses to Close Temporarily
Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Governor Chris Sununu has issued an Executive Order mandating that all businesses and other organizations that do not provide Essential Services shall close their physical workplaces and facilities to workers, customers, and the public and cease all in person operations as of 11:59 p.m. on March 27, 2020 and shall not re-open to workers, customers or the public or resume in person operations before 12:01 a.m. on May 4, 2020.
All businesses that provide essential services and workforces related to COVID-19 will continue their activities. While these entities are designated as essential, they are urged to follow social distancing protocols for workers in accordance with guidance from the Department of Public Health.
Governor Sununu is adhering to the Department of Homeland Security’s list of essential businesses, which includes Pest Control under Public Works.
Therefore, services provided by Modern Pest and other pest management companies can continue to conduct business in New Hampshire and are deemed essential services.
Modern Pest will continue with our scheduled residential and commercial services throughout New Hampshire. Clients may also request additional services in addition to previously scheduled services. We will perform services as conditions allow on a case-by-case basis.
